RESTRICTIONS

Minimum age 6 years.

Participants aged 6-13 are required to attend with a paying adult.

1 adult per 3 children or 2 adults per 4 children. Children aged 14+ do not require adult supervision.

Enclosed shoes must be worn.

Not accessible for people with mobility requirements.

Get up close and meet one of our most iconic Australian animals.

If you love Koalas, this experience is a must! You'll get a rare opportunity to explore behind the scenes at Melbourne Zoo, where you'll collect eucalypt browse or enrichment for one of our sleepiest residents. Afterward, you will enter the Koala exhibit to meet one of our koalas…. or perhaps even all of them!

This is your chance to get up close, ask questions, and learn about their adaptations, behaviours and the keeper training process based on choice and control.

Please note that, for Animal Welfare reasons, physical contact with the koalas is not permitted during this experience.
