Lakeside Café is Melbourne Zoo’s only indoor seated café and the perfect place to relax in comfort. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or Coffee for Wildlife, along with fresh pastries, toasted sandwiches, and a selection of 400 Gradi pizzas and warm winter mains, bringing a taste of Melbourne’s iconic Italian flavours to the zoo. Ideal for a cosy coffee break, an easy lunch, or a warm place to unwind with family.

Macaw Takeaway

Macaw Takeaway is your go-to spot for quick, fresh, and tasty meals on the move.

Stop by Rail Café and check out Little Franks, our newest pop-up café. Serving barista-crafted Coffee for Wildlife, freshly baked cinnamon scrolls, classic hot dogs, Coca-Cola drinks, and Streets ice cream, it’s the perfect spot to grab something quick and satisfying.
Located at Rail gate, the secondary exit from the zoo, this is an ideal stop if you’re arriving by train for your morning coffee or heading out and treating yourself on the way home. new canned Ice coffee range for on-the-go sipping.
