Keeper Kids Victorian Grassland Earless Dragon activities

Foster your child's love of wildlife through connection with the wonders of their natural world. Learn about animal families, through craft and play.

Let's create a finger puppet of our very own Grassland Earless Dragon!

Now, imagine taking this adorable lizard out for an adventure filled with imagination and exploration.

What might your lizard spy out in the outdoors? Perhaps you can play make-believe, turning leaves and rocks into delicious treats for your little dragon companion!

First, you will need a dice, and some counters (you can use rocks or buttons).

The baby meerkats need to get home to their den, help them get home safely!

Will you land on an anthill to climb up, or slide back down a log? See if you can eat some delicious food like scorpions or spiders on your way. But beware to hide from eagles and jackals.

Happy playing!

Have you heard about the legend of Ned? This term our Early Childhood Educators at Keeper Kids are rediscovering the Victorian Earless Dragon through our very own story.
